Wanted here on warrant charge with obtaining a 1/- by false pretences a man giving the name of Arthur Pearson of Myrtle Cottage London Road Coventry, age about 27, 5 ft 3, fair hair, dress grey jacket, dark grey trousers patch on one knee and grey motor cap, is very talkative and obtains money by calling upon the Secretary or Treasurers of Friendly Societies stating he was an Auctioneers Clerk out of work and is working his way to Coventry and has sent the Secretary of his Lodge there for his travelling card, but in the meantime he requires temporary relief, these statements are false and he is an imposter, stayed at a common lodging house here last night but left about 10 this morning and will undoubtedly call on the Secretary of Odd Fellowes and Foresters in your District if he has gone your way.
