From: Telephone message book: 11 Aug 1902 - 27...From Superintendent Duke to All Stations – Missing from his home 85 Richmond Road South Tottenham since 6 a.m. 11th Inst Richard Toy a Brewers Drayman, age 62, 5 ft 9, hair dark turning grey bald on top whiskers and moustache dark turning grey, fresh complexion, one finger supposed little finger left hand contracted, dark cloth trousers believed white stripes, dark jacket & vest, white turn down collar, dark tie, ordinary flannel undershirt, coloured Oxford shirt, no pants but trousers lined, white cotton stocking, black heavy lace boots supposed cut in front, wearing elastic stocking on one leg from knee to ankle.
