From: Telephone message book: 11 Aug 1902 - 27...From Superintendent Foster to All Stations – Strayed from a field at Waterford Hall Farm on 4th Inst a black mare about 14 1/2 hands, grey hair on sides, switch mane and tail, no shoes, also a bay filly foal white star on forehead about 13 hands, property of Mr. Morgan, also found straying on 5th Inst and now shut up at Mr. Ivorys New Farm Welwyn 3 colts, 2 chestnuts and 2 ponies.
