From Superintendent Wood to All Stations – Missing from his home at 120 Estcourt Road Watford since 4 p.m. 15th Inst, Edward Rowe [Official records and newspaper reports show his name as Edwin Rowe Ed.] age 52, 5 ft 9 or 10, dark hair, beard & moustachio dark turning grey, eyes blue, thin face, complexion pale, dress navy blue overcoat, dark striped trousers, black laced up boots, hard felt hat, has been ill for some time & is still on the sick list.
