From: Telephone message book: 11 Aug 1902 - 27...From County Police Cambridge to Bishops Stortford – An office at Pampisford Cambs was broken into last night during last night and 18/- worth of Postage stamps and a dozen lead pencils probably marked No. 3 Boots Cambridge were stolen supposed by three men of labouring class wearing corduroy trousers who were seen hanging about the place, kindly have enquiries made and watch kept on roads.
