From: Telephone message book: 11 Aug 1902 - 27...From Superintendent Frogley to All Stations – Missing from his home at Church Farm, Long Marston since 12 midnight on 20th Inst, William Gregory a farmer age 28 5 ft 10, dressed in blue striped cricketing jacket, brown trousers, grey cap, patent slippers, ring on little finger of right hand with a square back, no collar or tie, this man has been strange of late in his mind and it is feared some ill has befallen him.
