Stolen from a bedroom in this city during the night of 22nd Inst the property of Frederick Wallinger, 773 London Road, St. Albans a lady’s small silver Geneva watch No. 28005, plain dial and back, steel hands with silver chain curb pattern attached, by a man age about 50, 5 ft 7 or 8, stout build, sallow complexion, fair moustache, hair dark turning grey, speaks with a nasal accent, dress black overcoat, check jacket and trousers, dark vest and cap, carried a brown leather handbag, stated he was a carpenter.
