Missing from his home since 7th Inst Frederick Carter Reid a Postman, age 35 years, 5 ft 6 or 7, complexion dark, thin build, dark brown moustache no whiskers, walks slightly lame caused by rheumatic fever leaving weakness at knees, dressed dark jacket and vest, black trousers, stand up collar, green and white tie, dark grey overcoat, brown socks, black lace up boots, hard felt hat, gold ring on little finger initials F.C.R. therein, slightly deranged, he handed in three Telegrams at Harpenden yesterday asking his friend to meet him at St. Albans, on their arrival he was not to be seen and has not since been heard of, please cause enquiries to be made.
