From: Telephone message book: 11 Aug 1902 - 27...From Superintendent Wood to All Stations – Description of a bicycle which was left outside a house in Watford on 24 Dec 02 by some person unknown and has not yet been owned, a gents quadrant bicycle number 37755, 27 in frame, flat handle bars, felt grips, Dunlop tyre, plunger brake front wheel, Warwick tyre back wheel, Brooks B28 saddle, double rubber pedals, black enamel frame, metal gear case and mudguards, padlock on front, Crown foot rest on fork, usual parts plated, luggage carrier behind and 18 in brass pump on top bar.
