From Superintendent Duke to All Stations – Copy of message from Police Cheshunt. Stolen during night of 13th Inst 21 fowls, 1 cockerel, 5 pullets Buff Orpington and other breeds various colours taken from a fowl house situated by Aqueduct Lock River Lea, property of John Piper Lock Keeper.

Transmitted to Sawbridgeworth, Post Albury and Hadham.
