Description of 3 men identical with those described in my information of the 2nd Inst and were seen at Broxbourne about 10 a.m. on 3rd Inst, two were riding gents bicycles and the other a lady’s bicycle, 1st about 30, 5 ft 4 or 5m stout build, wearing black bowler hat and grey overcoat, 2nd age about 30, 5 ft 6 or 7, medium build, dark moustache, dark trousers, black bowler hat and dark overcoat, 3rd age about 30, 5 ft 8 or 9, dark moustache, stout build, black bowler hat and dark overcoat, these men booked from Broxbourne Station to Liverpool Street with the three bicycles by the 10..24 a.m. train on 3rd Inst, please cause immediate enquiries to be made.
Stolen from Mr. Isaac Chalkley’s yard Brand Street, Hitchin between 8 p.m. 2nd Inst and 12 noon 3rd Inst, a lady’s Excellsior bicycle 20 in frame No. 46438, old Dunlop tyre on front, wheel new, Warwick tyre back, 26 X 1 1/2, property of Mrs. Kirby Offley, value £4.
