HERTFORDSHIRE CONSTABULARY 180TH ANNIVERSARY TIME-LINE: 30.
2021. One hundred and eighty years after Chief Constable Archibald Robertson first formed the Hertfordshire Constabulary, the force today has 2,164 police officers, 1,533 police staff, 204 Police Community Support Officers, 218 Special Constables and 389 volunteers, covering an area measuring 632 square miles, which is home to over 1.2 million people.
