While patrolling Hadham Ford at 10.45pm, the officer noticed a large group of young men causing a disturbance near Chapel Lane. They were asked to be quieter and warned about their language. (Incident continued on next page)

(Incident continued from previous page) One of the men causing the disturbance, Samuel Fore, was clearly drunk and refused to leave. Upon being warned about his language, he took off his belt and struck the officer several times with it. After a struggle, the officer was able to get him inside his mother’s house.
