The Chief Constable sent a copy of a letter, dated 13 August 1902, from the Governor of St Albans Prison to all Stations. Chief Warder W. Fenwick requested for the information of the Home Office a list of lock ups in Hertfordshire used to hold remand prisoners by the Police.
