Making enquiries at Latton Priory, Potter Street, Harlow, Essex, regarding a cow sold at Bishops Stortford Market

Whilst on duty at Kiln Farm, the officer saw Mr French burying the inside of a cow in lime. The animal was slaughtered by Mr Webb on October 3.

Two mares stolen or strayed from a meadow in Walkern the previous Saturday night, 28th January 1905. A large bay mare, hog mane and tail, 5 years old, one hind fetlock white, small star on forehead, no shoes, in good condition. Also a bay mare pony 6 years old, medium mane and tail.
