A man with a warrant out for his arrest for disobedience was apprehended. The Sergeant later conveyed prisoners from Harlow to Much Hadham.

Two pairs of men’s light lace-up boots stolen from outside a shop in St. Albans this evening. Boots later recovered and the thief arrested.
2nd October 1901
Man Assaulted in Street Aout 9:30pm Charles Sweet of No. 31 Little Hadham, Road Parish of Bishops Stortford reported that he had been assaulted and injured by a Arthur Ernest Howell of No. 4 Potter Street.
