Mrs. Filby of Upton Road reports that this afternoon two boys named Saunders of Middle Road and Lilly of Middle Road opened their shop door (opposite The Oak) this afternoon and went in. She is told by some other children that they took some sweets out of a bottle. They opened the door with a key which fits Mrs. Sanders door. Enquiries made & 2 boys named Charles & Albert Sanders are the boys who entered the shop. Proceedings are being taken against C. Sanders. Sergt. 136.Police officer
