Copy of Route Form from Essex Constabulary, Romford Remanded to Romford Petty Sessions 10 am 5th June 1902, charged with Larceny from a till at Noak Hill on 31 inst., John Clark, Labourer. States he has served in Leicester Regt. Last residence Ipswich, birthplace, New St., Ipswich, age 46 years, height 5ft 4½ inches, eyes blue, hair brown, complexion fresh, ginger moustache & whiskers, figure thin, (supposed single). Marks. Cut scars over left eyebrow, both elbows have been dislocated, scar left knee. Believed to have been previously convicted. Wm. Creasy, Supt.Police officer
