Remanded till 16th inst, charge :- uttering counterfeit coin (shilling pieces) on 1st Sept. 1902, Alfred J Botham (supposed false), age 73 years, height 5ft 2½, eyes hazel, complexion sallow, hair dark turning grey. Place of Birth, states Bath. No fixed abode. Trade Hawker. Marks, right wrist deformed, varicose veins left calf, breast bone projects at bottom, nose inclines right. 2nd James Blake, supposed false, 39 yrs., height 5ft 4, eyes grey, complexion fresh, hair brown. Place of birth states Bethnal Green. No fixed abode. Last residence Bethnal Green. Trade shoe maker. Marks, mole outside right forearm, cut scar crown of head, 2 scars left shin & 1 left knee, scars bridge of nose, indistinct tattoo mark left forearm. Information to Geo Reed, Inspr.
