From: Supt. Shore To: All Stations Stolen from Ayott [Ayot] Railway Station between 11pm 5th inst. and 11am 6th inst., a dark grey Chesterfield overcoat, velvet collar, burn mark left side, silver cord with chain and two keys attached and 2s/7d in money. A leather dispatch bag was cut open and two drawers forced by a ¾ inch jemmy. Entrance effected by forcing plate glass window in office door. Supposed by a tramp.Police officer
