A Burglary Lost And Found Property And Dog
From: Telephone message book: 11 Aug 1902 - 27...From Superintendent Foster to All Stations – Stolen from an unoccupied house at Welwyn between 6.30 p.m. 9th Inst & 6.15 a.m. on 11th Inst two pairs of paper hanger scissors, 1st pair has inches marked on top up to 7, 2nd pair 5 to 6 inches long, also a cloth red border and kitchen marked in centre, supposed by tramps, please cause enquiries.
Also found in Welwyn on 10th Inst. a lady’s gunmetal keyless watch knob ring and ring inside gold, steel hand, black figures, flowers in centre.
Also lost in Welwyn on 10th Inst. a small plain link gold watch chain.
Also lost in Hertford on 9th Inst. a valuable Irish Terrier dog, answers name of Patrick, no collar, property of Mrs. T.C. Barclay Leahoe Hertford.
