Shore Stolen by means of house-breaking at Welwyn between 9 & 11:30 am on 28th inst. from Gun Cottage, a Silver Lever watch, name engraved on inside “Nash”, gold hands, steel chain & key, value 20/-, property of Walter Nash. Supposed by a tall man wearing white cord trousers. Entrance effected by breaking window. If found detain & wire to Supt. Of Police Hertford.Police officer
