From: Telephone message book: 11 Aug 1902 - 27...From Deputy Chief Constable to All Stations – Stolen from an engine shed at Hyde Hall Farm Sandon between 12 noon the 27th and 5.30 p.m. 29th Inst 5 lengths of strapping. 1st about 15 yards long, 5 1/4 inches wide, 1/2 inch thick, 2nd 16 yards, 4 in wide, 1/4 in thick, 3rd 8 or 9 yards, 5 in wide, 1/4 in thick, 4th 16 yards, 3 in wide, 1/4/in thick, 5th an odd length 4 in wide, all old strapping valued £10 property of Thomas George Waller, Hyde Hall Farm, Sandon.
