From: Supt Wood To: All Stations Copy of information from City of London Police. Stolen by a man named John Welch on 6th Aug 1901 who is committed to take his trial on the 10th inst.:- a light brown mare 15 hands 5 years old, face and hind fetlocks white, right fetlock swollen, blistered inside of each knee
- also a set of silver-plated harness, black leather with C. P. on rosettes
- had a Stratford Cart, nearly new, painted dark green picked out black, with brass finials found at each of shafts, worn through dark green cushions, India rubber tyres, a pair of brass lamps.
