PC Milton went to Furneaux Pelham and assisted the Relieving Officer Mr Brown to convey Thomas Johnson to the Bishops Stortford Union.

On consecutive days PC Milton made enquiries regarding dog licenses. He also received 11 shillings and 10 pence regarding duty at the General Election and 7 shillings and 5 1/2 pence Railway Fares. On the second day he went to Little Hadham with some Railway Forms and a receipt.
