Charge of inflicting grievous bodily harm

Transcript

Charles Matthews, labourer, of Hitchin, was again brought up on remand charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm on his brother Edward Matthews, of Archer’s Green, Tewin, on October 7th, at Essendon.

Supt Frazier stated that the injured man was not yet sufficiently recovered to appear, and he applied for a further remand for a week, which was granted.
