Bertie Harradine, a boy of eleven, pleaded guilty to stealing wood of the value of 6d., the property of the Garden City Company, at Letchworth on January 28th. P.C. Bowman said Harradine and his sister, under seven, were carrying wood from a heap to the house in which their parents lodged. The boy was dealt with under the First Offender’s Act.
