Police Cricketers’  Big  Win

On Wednesday, ”A” (Harpenden) and ”D” (Bishop’s Stortford) Divisions of the Herts County Constabulary met on Harpenden Common at cricket, and after a most pleasant game the visitors gained an easy victory.

Scores : ” A” Division 41 ( P.c. Gristwood , five wickets for 21 runs).”D” Division 177 (P.c. Gristwood 85, P.c. Carter 42 , P.c. Plested 21,P.c. Trundle six wickets for 42 ).

The match was in the Superintendent’s Shield Competition.
