Two Classes Of Police Superintendents

Transcript

On the recommendation of a sub-committee of the Standing Joint Committee it was decided to form two divisions of Police Superintendents, one division to receive £135 per annum on appointment and rise by £5 a year to £200, and the other to consist of not more than three selected Superintendents to be promoted by reason of special merit, their salaries to be £210 on promotion and rise by £10 increments to £250.
