On Monday, 17th August 1959, a new intake of Police Cadets started.
This photograph, taken on 26th August, shows the 23 Cadets with senior officers and training staff.
Cadets’ pay for the first full month was £18-8s-4d.

I was in this intake August 1959. I cannot see myself or others on the course that I still know. I have lost my photo.
