First Hertfordshire Police Vehicles - 1928

In 1928 the first motor cars and motor cycles were purchased by Hertfordshire Constabulary from The Hertford Motor Company, Fore Street, Hertford.
The fleet included three ‘Invictors’ registrations UR8710, UR8683 and UR9357 which were hand built in Cobham, Surrey and tested at Brooklands.
