At Hertford Borough Sessions Harry Spinks, of Green Street, was summoned for using threatening and abusive words on July 24. He pleaded guilty. P.s. Palmer said that on Saturday night he saw the defendant in Green Street challenging a man named Cockman to fight. The defendant said that Cockman and his wife were in his house and he ordered them out as he did not want them there.
The defendant was ordered to pay 2s. 6d. towards the costs.
