Thirty-Three Previous Convictions

Daniel Monk (46), labourer, 52 Queen Street, Hitchin, was summoned for using obscene language at Hitchin on January 29, 1926.

P.C. Webster supported the charge. Monk arrived late and pleaded guilty. Thirty-three previous convictions, many for similar offences, were alleged against the defendant.

Chairman said that Monk has a pretty bad record, and he would be fined £1.
