Bad language

At Ware Petty Sessions on Tuesday, Matilda Storey, of Kibes Lane, Ware, was summoned for using bad language on October 19.  She did not appear.  P.c. Bignell said that on the date in question he was in Kibes Lane when he heard the defendant swearing at her child in her house.  The witness told the defendant he should report her, and she said she did not care if he did.  Supt Handley said it was a continual occurrence on Saturday nights for this woman to use bad language towards her children.  It could be heard outside and by the neighbours.  Fined 6 shillings.
