At Buntingford Petty Sessions on Friday, five Special Constables were sworn in as follows: Ardeley, Mr Frank Hummerstone; Cottered, Mr Frank Hummerstone; Rushden, Messrs. George Bygrave and P. F. Dudley; and Wyddial, Mr William Hatchet. The Chairman said the Bench thanked them for coming forward at war time as Special Constables.
