When opening the doors of the Baptist Chapel in Bishop’s Stortford on the Sunday evening, the caretaker, Phillips, found a parcel under the table in the entrance hall. He called a policemen who, on opening it, found it to contain a shell. It was taken to the Police Station and enquiries were made. It was ascertained that a Sunday School teacher had used it at a children’s service as an object lesson!
