Two soldiers while drunk steal a cart

(3) About 6-p.m. this evening a report was received at the station that two soldiers who appeared to be the worse for drink had taken possession of a cart belonging to another man and had backed it into the off side of his motor car which was standing in the road, doing injury to the mudguard. Owner of car J. H. Aylmer, Solicitor, Newmarket. Index No. C. E. 2826.

Enquiries made by Pc 199 Briden and Garrison Police but failed to find out who the two soldiers were as they had probably got to their Billets before our arrival.
