Transcript

Charles Herbert Green, of 73, Bengeo Street, Hertford, pleaded guilty to riding a motor bicycle without a light, at Ware, on August 2nd, at 11.30 p.m.

P.C. Simpson stated that he stopped the defendant near the Vicarage Gates. Defendant said he had been detained at Puckeridge by a storm, and the lamp he had borrowed would not burn.

A fine of 6d. and 6s.6d. cost was imposed.
