Lorry's excessive noise - Ware men fined

Alfred John Tilcock , 1 High Oak Road , Ware , was summoned for using a motor-lorry which caused excessive noise , at Ware on January 5 , and John Page , jnr. , High Street , Ware , was summoned for permitting the use of the lorry .

Evidence was given by P.s. Saunders , and Mr Page said that a few days previously the driver had hit a gate with the lorry , and the right wing of the vehicle was damaged . The wing was left as it was  for the Insurance Company to see .

Defendants were fined 5 shillings each.
