No lights

Transcript

At Ware Petty Sessions James Brown, hay carter, of Little Hadham, was summoned for having no lights on his cart.  P.c. Gray said that on July 6 he was at Hunsdon at 10.45 p.m. when he saw the defendant with a wagon and two horses.  He had no light, and explained that he could not get a candle.  The defendant did not appear, and he was fined 9 shillings.
