At Cheshunt Petty Sessions, George Turpin (16), of 36 Albury Grove Road, Cheshunt, was fined a guinea for having worked a chestnut gelding in an unfit state on the 20th of June.
Police Constable Brown said that the animal had two sores extending from the shoulder blade to the stomach, and that the animal was in great pain.
